Abstract:

This paper presents the study of the role of ICT in education and its effective parameters. It highlights the need, importance and effectiveness of the ICT in the educational parameters like teaching, learning and evaluation. The basic purpose of this study is to present the impact of ICT on teaching, learning and assessment. The amount of ICT used by students and their attainment levels have been investigated in many research studies. Some studies have used national test results as the measurement; whereas other studies have used the observed improvement in students’ learning outcomes. However, a systematic study is done in this work to represent the effectiveness of ICT in the teaching, learning and assessment.
